Details

All bookings are subject to the following terms and conditions. Completion of the booking form indicates your acceptance, and all guests in your party, of these terms and conditions.

Booking Procedure

To make a booking, please feel free to use the book online feature on the website. If you prefer you can check Grove House is available for the dates you need by contacting us using the enquiry form on the website, by email to info@grovehouseleyburn.com or by telephone on 01969 622 569. Confirmation will require a valid credit or debit card. 

No person under the age of 18 can stay in the accommodation without a parent or guardian.

Cancellation

If you alter your travel plans, please let us know as soon as possible so we can cancel your booking.

To avoid charges, cancellation must be made by 6.00pm, three days prior to the arrival date, by contacting us by email, after this you will be responsible for the first nights room tariff. For cancellations with 48 hours notice 50% of the reservation total will be charged, and 100% of the booking total will be charged at 24 hours notice.

Booking reductions (after arrival date) and no shows will be charged 100% of the booking total.

We recommend when booking any accommodation, holiday insurance is taken out.

Arrival and Departure

After parking in our private car park found at the rear of the guest house, walk round to the main front door. We're happy to help with your luggage if you need any help.

Your room will be available from 4:00pm. but please let us know if you anticipate a late arrival so we can be here to check you in. 

After registering you then have access to your room at all times using an entrance to the side of the house marked 'Guest Entrance'.

For the convenience of in-coming guests we require rooms to be vacated by 11:00am on the day of your departure. Later departure times may be possible on request.

Damages and Breakages

In the event of damage to the property, we reserve the right to make a charge to the card on file to replace, repair or professionally clean the item(s) concerned.

There will be a charge of £50.00 for lost keys.

Pets

We are happy to have dogs staying with us in one of our four dog friendly rooms (Swaledale, Wensleydale, Wharfedale & Widdale). A water bowl, food bowl, dog bed, dog towel and a special treat will be in your room on arrival. A charge of £15 per night will apply, however guide dogs are welcome without charge.

Smoking

We have a no smoking policy at Grove House, therefore smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the property. A surcharge of £500 for professional cleaning will be applied to room charges for anyone smoking within Grove House.

Liabilities

In the unlikely event that we are forced to cancel your booking due to circumstances beyond our control, we will attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If suitable accommodation is not available or unacceptable to you then you will not be liable for any further payments to us. Compensation, expenses costs or other sums of any description will not be paid in such circumstances.

We do not accept any liability for damage to your property or injury to you (or any other members of your party) whilst on our premises, unless caused by the negligence by us. Cars left in our car park are parked at your own risk.

Data

Any data collected as a result of your booking will be stored in accordance with the provisions of current Data Protection legislation.
